The role
The Inventory and Inbound Goods Co-ordinator will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of goods-in, goods-out and inventory control activities at one of the MTC sites. This role is responsible for ensuring all inbound deliveries are accurately received, inspected, recorded and stored safely and efficiently, whilst maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting operational continuity across the facility. They are also responsible for ensuring that all goods outwards are packaged and labelled correctly, freight is arranged, and goods are loaded onto vehicles correctly and the shipment is recorded.
The successful candidate will work independently with minimal supervision and will be trusted to manage the goods-in and goods-out area in a disciplined, organised and professional manner. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent self-management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads in a busy operational environment.
Working closely with Procurement, Logistics, Engineering and Project teams, the post holder will ensure that materials, components and equipment are correctly receipted, traceable and readily available to support business operations and project delivery.
The role reports into the Inventory and Logistics Manager and will play a key role in supporting operational efficiency, stock accuracy and compliance with internal procedures. This is a hands-on, site-based coordination role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, effective communication and a practical understanding of stores, logistics and inventory processes
