MTC Training is growing, and we’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join our dynamic in‑house legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified lawyer, solicitor apprentice or experienced paralegal to build a varied, impactful career within an organisation that sits at the forefront of UK innovation, technology and skills development.
About the Role
As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing accurate, pragmatic legal advice across the business. Your work will focus primarily on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and partners, while influencing internal stakeholders to support strong, compliant decision‑making.
You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple business units, helping shape outcomes that protect and advance MTC’s interests.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
Advising internal stakeholders on legal risks and practical solutions.
Supporting negotiations with customers, suppliers and partners.
Working collaboratively across the legal team and wider organisation.
Contributing to improved ways of working, including exploring the use of AI to enhance efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, including private practice and in‑house. You may be newly qualified or developing your legal career through an apprenticeship or paralegal route.
