This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are looking for a HR Shared Services (HRSS) Coordinator to join our Human Resources team based in Coventry. This role is a fixed term contract.

During your time at the MTC, you will be a key member to the HR Shared Services Team providing support to the HR Team but also to colleagues across the MTC.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing daily emails that are sent by MTC colleagues to the HR and Payroll inbox, providing a timely response to a wide variety of queries or requests.
  • You will also be expected to become familiar with specialised areas of HR, including Right to Work, Visa applications, Induction and Onboarding and Administration of Company benefits.
  • Maintaining and inputting of information directly to HR Cascade and ADP / iHCM Systems to add new starters, leavers, changes of department, manager, job title, one-off payments, salary changes, promotions, change of hours.
  • Processing new offer contracts of employment, within the required time scales.
  • Supporting payroll-related activities including SMART holidays, P11D’s, P60, P46 Car, SMP, SSP, National Statistics, in accordance with company policy and statutory requirements.
  • Support KPI reporting and any other ad hoc requests for data.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Will be able to work and communicate effectively at all levels and demonstrate the ability to handle personal data appropriately and accurately.
  • Will need to have the verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group as well as a high level of written English and a commitment to providing excellent customer service to all HR stakeholders (listed in the job description attached).
  • You will be naturally predisposed to providing the best possible service to MTC colleagues
  • You will be a natural team player, always willing to ask for help or offer support as appropriate.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to lead induction or ‘lunch and learn’ sessions e.g., to train managers or colleagues in how to use the HR Cascade system.

In addition:

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a HR Administrator/Coordinator
  • System literacy –Microsoft Office Suite and HR Cascade System
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight timescales and be able to prioritise
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Knowledge of business processes

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Medium to advanced Excel skills
  • Payroll knowledge 
  • Commercial awareness
  • A basic knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes
